And Yet, She Blooms

This small collection of artworks is a tribute to the women who show up, without question, without condition. Inspired by magnolias blooming through spring rain, these paintings speak to the mother heart who endures not just in the good, but especially in the messy, uncertain, and uncelebrated moments. These paintings remind us that motherhood doesn’t wait for perfect weather. It endures. It nurtures. It blooms anyway.

These Special Edition prints are being offered for a limited time, from April 22nd until May 11th. Each premium paper print will be hand-signed by Victoria, embossed with a seal, and numbered.
The Creative Process
I had hoped to paint these pieces outside in the sun in a meadow surrounded by blooming trees. The rain had other plans though so we brought magnolia trees into my studio and painted in my own studio meadow. This process was a little reminder to me of how mothers rise to the occasion even when the plans change, to bloom even in the rain, which became the main inspiration for these pieces. When I look at these flowers with raindrops covering their petals, I feel seen, and I hope these pieces minister to mothers around the world to see themselves in these artworks too.
