Island State of Mind

This series was inspired and created during a recent visit to Vancouver Island. I had the pleasure of painting these pieces on different beaches my family and I discovered in our travels. Sand, dirt, and seawater found their way into the works like small souvenirs. Island State of Mind captures both the visual and physical experience that comes along with being on the wild West Coast.
