Auction FAQs
- Can I bid if I don’t intend to purchase? No. Bidding is fun, but keep in mind that each bid you make is a binding contract to buy the item if you win. Please see our Terms of Service for more information.
- Can I retract a bid? You can only retract a bid under specific circumstances. For example, if you meant to bid $100.00 but accidentally bid $10,000, you can retract the bid. Even then, you need to bid the amount you originally intended immediately. Never use bid retraction to manipulate the bidding process. Contact hello@victoriarosepark.com if you need to retract a bid.
- Will my name and bid amounts remain anonymous during the auction? Yes. Your name will remain anonymous during bidding. Only Victoria Rose Park and her team will have access to your details once a bid is submitted.
- What if I was immediately outbid? If you are outbid immediately after placing a bid, it’s likely that another bidder is using automatic bidding and has a maximum limit higher than yours. You’ll need to increase your maximum limit in order to be the highest bidder.

5th piece of the Sanctuary Collection
Homecoming
The story...
August 2024
The fifth piece in this collection - Homecoming - portrays the feeling of coming home, painted during sunset in the hills where I grew up.
Nostalgia runs deep
For me, home is both a place and feeling. This field was the same place I ran through as a child to reach the forest for endless imaginary play, and the same field where Mike and I farmed sheep in our first year of marriage.
A place of belonging
There is something deep down calling us home. Like an eternal and endless echo reminding us to belong. This painting captures that feeling.
The creative process...
